Technical Solutions Sales Representative

RSI is looking for a dynamic Technical Solutions Sales Representative to join our team. As a Technical Solutions Sales Rep, you will attend multiple conferences and networking events to identify business opportunities. From there, you will follow-up on hot opportunities in an effort to expand account base and sales. The ideal candidate must have experience in selling services or solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options
  • Attend conferences nationwide and local networking events
  • Initiate contact with prospective customers to establish relationships and schedule phone and/or onsite appointments
  • Adjust content of presentations and solution recommendations based on the needs of prospects
  • Explain product and service enhancements and introduce new products and services
  • Conduct follow-up calls and meetings as necessary to close sales
  • Research product improvements and new products; be current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing networks, etc
  • Develop sales strategies by evaluating current product and service results, monitoring competitive products and services, and analyzing customer reactions
  • Plan and attend business mixers to advertise our services

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional sales experience in a service-oriented environment
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license (local traveling required)
  • Ability to recognize sales opportunities beyond the customer’s perceived needs or requirements
  • Strong negotiating and prospecting skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent written & oral communication skills as well as presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong business relationships

Desired Skills & Characteristics

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Marketing or related field
  • Knowledgeable across a wide range of technical subjects such as information technology, cybersecurity, penetration testing, regulatory compliance; a major plus
  • Quick-learner who is willing to learn
  • Obsessed with metrics; especially those pertaining to growth of sales and business
  • Persistence and determination
  • Ability to handle rejection from potential customers

IT Support/ Desktop Support

RSI is looking for a dedicated IT / Desktop Support Analyst to join our team. As a Support Analyst, you will assist our clients with their technical issues. Additionally, you will support account managers and sales team in recommending solutions to current and potential clients.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Telephone, email and onsite support for clients requiring technical support regarding all types of systems and hardware
  • Configure, upgrade and relocate PC hardware, software and print devices
  • Perform software and hardware configuration across Windows platform
  • Design, develop, and test workflow processes for end-user developed applications, providing proof-of-concept support
  • Provide detailed reporting and tracking utilizing trouble ticketing system as well as design, test and modify system specifications for internal ticketing system
  • Ability to document knowledge based articles for end-users and internal IT
  • Monitor and manage backup and security systems to ensure data integrity and information assurance
  • Follow up with clients to ensure issues have been resolved
  • Work with a wide range of tools to resolve issues
  • General IT support and aid to Systems Administrators and Network Engineers as needed, including, but not limited to, implementation of hardware and testing
  • General end-user profile maintenance, including Active Directory
  • Identifies system/application problem trends to management and recommends solutions for proactive mitigation
  • Part of the off-hours on call team (nights, weekends and/or holidays)

Requirements

  • 1+ years of relative professional work experience, especially in a customer-oriented environment
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license (local traveling required)
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, effectively, and efficiently with little guidance after initial training period
  • Self-starter and critical thinker, with strong attention to details
  • Excellent troubleshooting and logical thinking skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure, especially with urgent support requests
  • In-depth knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Office 2013 and above, Office 365 and the admin portal, Adobe, various remote connection tools, etc
  • Team-player

Desired Skills & Characteristics

  • Experience in working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) is a major plus
  • Current knowledge of the latest technology, hardware, and software
  • Quick-learner who is willing to learn
  • Goal-oriented individual; someone who wants to grow with the company
